COLLEEN KLEIN

Colleen is a native of Tallahassee, FL.  Colleen began ballet at a young age.  Her early training was with Southern Academy of Ballet Arts under the direction of Charles Hagan and Natalia Botha. She performed and toured internationally with the Tallahassee Ballet Company during high school and college. Colleen studied ballet at Florida State University from 1998 – 2002. She had the privilege of studying under Suzanne Farrell, Sheila Humphreys, Richard Sias, and Anjali Austin. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Studies and minored in Computer Science. Colleen also attended summer programs with Ballet Magnificat! and Miami City Ballet. In 2002 Colleen moved to Jackson, MS, to join the Trainee Program. She was later promoted to Company Member in Ballet Magnificat! Omega. She performed and taught throughout the United States as well as internationally for seven and a half years. In January of 2010, Colleen moved to Springfield, MO. Colleen has been a staff member at Credo Dance Academy since August 2010.  She is also joined Petra Ballet Company as a Company Member and Tour Director in 2011.
